Knocking noise when starting

My car has developed this knocking noise when i first start it up, like a thud in time with the idling, and fades away when revved. It's more noticable inside rather than out, and sounds like it's coming from round the transmission tunnel area.
I've checked the exhuast mounts and seen fine. Any ideas what could be causing it?

It was identified as a worn out gear box mount. This cuased the knocking when parked at an angle, and the big juddering when reversing.

My list on monday was front wheel bearing, bad battery strap, oil leak, tracking, gearbox monut, 6K service, still got to sort out boot switch. It's all fun[]
