Kop Hill Climb - Sat 25th, Sun 26th Sept

Roary

Guest of the Club
Just wondered if anyone was going?

I went last year and it was a great event.

No special parking, £5 to get in

Cheers

Chris

I could be tempted by this - but will have to see nearer the time. I remember this being mentioned somewhere ages ago so thanks for the reminder!

You can see the entrants listing on the site, including the Veyron that ran last year with a great number plate "YE5 I CAN", owned by the guy who owns London Wasps & Wycombe wanderers. Last year Jay Kay was there as well with a selection from his stable as he lives 1 mile away.

Yes, we're going on the Sunday. A friend who went last year says parking was in a stubble field...did you find this was OK Chris?

If daughter decides to come we'll probably be in the family barge and not the 944!

Gents

I have just spoken to the organiser.

It is possible to pre-book spaces, but if we want a Club area, which I'm prepared to organise, we would stand a better chance on the SATURDAY.

Let me know if you are interested.

I think it's pretty unlikely I will make it to be honest and I definitely can't do the Saturday.

I thought the pre-book was for only pre-76 cars but if you can get a club area that would be great. Parking was in a field but last year I went in my now sold GT40 replica which, although I did not have a pass, got me into the paddock area which is nice & flat.

Melv, if you can get a club area that would be great & count me in for 4 Cars for the Saturday, I'll be there from 9:30.

If you get it just let me know how we idendify the cars as "CLUB" ones, so we get into the right area.

Regards

Chris
