September 17-18th – Kop Hill Climb
Robin Walker is organising a stand for R21 and gives these details:
I have booked a plot for PCGB Region 21, in the paddock at this year’s two day Kop Hill Climb event which takes place over the 17th and 18th September at Princes Risborough Bucks. The paddock at Kop Hill is quite small and the organisers have limited the Club display's to be for pre-1990 cars. So apologies to owners of later model cars. Cars to drive the hill climb have to be pre 1973, again restricting the number of participants. For members who want to be part of the display of classic Porsche cars, you will need to go to their website at: - www.kophillclimb.org.uk ; and follow the instructions under the 'entrant' heading naming 'Porsche Club GB' as the preferred Club stand. The cost for a car and driver for one day is £20 and for the car and driver for the weekend is £30.
Bookings for the paddock displays and spectator tickets open on 4th April. For those who were in our display last year, the organisers have promised me that we will not be near the very noisy steam powered funfair and in particular the carousel steam organ - man can take only so much steam organ playing! More news next month, but if you would like to be part of the show, don't delay, book now and email or phone to let us know what days you plan to be there. Robin Walker, (M) 07580194789 or r21@porscheclubgb.com.
