Morning all, Has anybody had issues with kw clubsport suspension spring/strut/monoball assy and using rs anti roll bars, the anti roll bar bracket issue with variant 3 is well documented but the position of the bracket on the clubsport kit (non rs kit)is diffrent and still does not seem to be correct for either a std anti roll bar or a rs one, I attach pics for your perusal!. Also i notice that somebody has fitted gt2 evo steering tie rods and the rs type track rod end to a car which does not have the rs uprights?? I would have thought this was not a good idea?? Maybe the engineer thought that the angle was better than a standard cars track rod end, when running at 10mm below sport ride height (M030/M033) also the adjusting collars on the rear dampers are at the bottom limit and the car is not at rs ride height? |I would have thought that this being the clubsport kit and aimed at the occasional competition user a wider range of height adjustment would have been available. I have not removed the struts to examine the assembly in case somebody has fitted a shim or changed the springs, although visually they appear to be the std kw clubsport (c2) kit ones.

Awaiting thoughts?? Christian...........

I think they call this sort of thing "stream of consciousness ". Good luck with the translation.

Hi all, getting closer to the truth slowly. carried out my own measurements of standard dampers it seems that these dampers are firstly fitted the wrong way round ,the stickers on them say they are the right way round but i think they mixed up the labeling and the fitter didn't question the orientation. The distance between the anti roll mount and the lower damper eye is according to my calculations about the same as an rs damper. so it seems these are rs clubsports not c2,but rs ones use the standard rs top-mount and c2 ones use kw's own top-mount . this car has kw uniball topmounts. This may explain why the ride height is so high on the lowest possible setting . Update to follow.
