KW V3 and aftermarket camber/caster plates - opinions...

Hi folks,

I'm 99% certain I'll get a KW V3 setup for my 944S2 for Christmas.

And while they're being installed, the strut mounts should also be refreshed. The cost of aftermarket camber/caster plates is similar to OEM strut mounts, so it seems to be a no-brainer to go with the aftermarket option (realizing that NVH will increase).

Does anyone have postive or negative feedback on specific aftermarket camber/caster plates when used in conjunction with a KW V3 setup?

Thanks.

Karl.

I like the Lindsey ones. Note that they are imperial sized and KW are metric, so you need to get the 2 1/2" top mounts and have the hats turned down slightly to fit the 60mm KW springs.

Karl, Please let us know how you get on. I'm looking to refresh my suspension next year sometime and based on cost am looking like i'm leaning to the KW as well. I was planning on using the KL Industries (I think that's the manufacturers name) as they are pretty cheap and seem to be pretty good.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I certainly will.

The KLA product is a straight strut mount, without camber/caster adjustment. Its also on my candidate list.

I got some initial feedback from KW North America after they returned from the holidays on Jan-02...

There is no strut mount (they call them "top mounts") for the 944/968 V3... yet. But they may come available in some number of weeks. KW NA said they'd know more at the end of January.

"333pg333" setup is a 2-way race system, and they do have top mounts available for the race setups.
