Can the ride hide still be lowered or raised once the torsion bars have been reindexed and if so, can this be adjusted on the car and by how much? with thanks Gary

Not easily. If you install without re-indexing you'll basically be using up all the eccentric adjustment and will be sat at whatever height you've got, but if you re-index then you can set your eccentric to the limit at one end so in theory you could adjust ride height via the eccentrics by about 20mm. Why would you want to adjust ride height anyway? If you do then it throws out your geometry so it is not something you could do track-side particularly quickly and without special tools.

Yes, after re-indexing you still have about a 2-inch height adjustment at all corners. It's a PITA at the back, as the exhaust gets in the way of the C Wrench, and you need to loosen/tighten the little screwstops, which again is about as elegant an engineering solution as cleaning your teeth with a flint, but it's useful if e.g. you swap to tyres of a different rolling radius, as I've just done.
