KYB strut bumpers and boots

I need new strut bumpers and boots to go with Koni inserts on my '91 S2. KYB has a "universal" set that is quite cheap (bellows type boots) but I wonder if these will fit with the late 944's smaller diameter springs. The KYB bumpers are very cheap. Koni "progressive" bumpers are similar price to OEM rubber ones. Anyone have experience to share?
