lack of steering!

Usual saturday morning , 911 out of garage do the usual things , cashpoint, supermarket, fuel etc. park up walk around get in car , no steering !!.
Ring for recovery, get called a lucky bugger!!.
Visit garage monday to be told that sometime during cars life the steering rack or asembly has been out and not but back properly!! Life flashes past, remember the spirited drives at high revs etc , yes i am a lucky bugger and for that matter anyone coming the other way !.
Now just where do i get a new steering rack and parts various ?

Always had good service and they have a quick mail order turn around.
 
No the wheel was nicely connected to the the rest of the car ! Is just !! became not connected to the steering rack via componets various.
If you open the front bonnet there is a trap door under the carpet for access to steering parts this is where we have become detatched !
Currently awaiting catalogue from design 911.
