Lake district run on Sunday 14th May.

For those that are coming on the run I have a limited number of goodies from Michelin which I picked up at the recent Michelin visit.

We need to know numbers for the catering at the afternoon stop at Rydal Mount.

Hi Stuart
As per R5 thread we should be there providing the 924 is ready, it's at CCW right now, I'll know later today.
Cheers,
Alan

Nicola,
well you didn't think I was going to go through the security barriers with that little lot did you, the pens and books I know you managed to get in your bag, heavens knows where you hid the tyres.
Chris had got all the biscuits so I know he couldn't have swallowed anything else. [;)]

I thought you ate all the bicsuits......

That's why I had a baggy clothing on, do you think anyone noticed I looked like the Michelin man on the way out[8D]

Cath at Classic Car Workshop Coppull played a blinder and the is car good to go. Only thing is Ralph has a football match 9.30 so we only have 15 mins to get to Forton so we might be just behind you, does anyone want to post their number or email me so we can hopefully catch up with you on the way to the Lakes, although catching Stuart may well mean me trying to find a seconhand Bugatti Veyron in the Wigan area tonight ;)

Don't worry about the time too much Alan, we have decided to leave Forton by 11 rather than 10:30 [:)]

Sorry we just missed you (11.10) despite my best efforts because - guess what - no Veyron's on autotrader website apart from Dec delivery! Still had a nice day out, left before (hard) rain, sure we'll meet up with you all over the Summer.
Alan.

I must say to everyone thanks for a great turn out, despite the weather it was a great day and a good run thanks to the numbers that turned up.[:)]
The 'Inn On The Lake' was a great venue for a lunch and a leisurely chat.

We can put a couple of pictures into the Porsche Post so if anyone has any pictures they think stand out send them to me with a note saying they are for consideration and I'll pick a couple.
In fact personally I'd like to see any pictures that were taken so if you have them on digital please send them to me. (broadband willing [:)])

Thanks again folks, getting good numbers makes the effort worthwhile, and the views in my door mirrors was fantastic seeing a line of Porsches snaking through the curves.

PS. I think Roy really wants to have a 968 as he kept trying to get in the middle of us.
Still - having Roy's car in the group did make the 968s look even better.[8D]

yes, it was a shame he couldn't keep up most of the time,[:D]
(expecting him to show up any minute[8|])
