On Tuesday, 19 April R22 would like to invite you all to the Lakeland Motor Museum set in the heart of the Lake District for a fantastic evening with fellow members. We have two special guest joining us for the evening Simon & Ian Parker from Porsche centre South Lakes. The Parker family have been great supports of the Club through the years. Simon and Ian will tell us the Parker & Parker Story (as you know, the oldest Porsche dealership in the UK, and when Parker & Parker began selling Porsches in 1957 the official importer, AFN, had been bringing in 356s for only three years. So Ian’s childhood and almost five-decade-long career mirrors the story of Porsche in the UK). We have an evening planned for you from - Location: Lakeland Motor Museum, Old Blue Mill, Backbarrow, Ulverston, Cumbria, LA12 8TA lakelandmotormuseum.co.uk/ 6pm – Tour of the Museum 7.45pm – Hot meal (vegetarian option available) Cafe Ambio @ Lakeland Motor Museum 8.15pm – Ian & Simon Parker, talk @ Cafe Ambio 9.15pm – Close The museum requires entrance tickets and hot meals to to pre-paid and ordered in advance.
