Lamborghini to make a 4x4

Thought you might like to know that Lamborghini may be entering the 4x4 market (more of a return since the LM002 went out of production in '92).

Of course Lamborghini has the same problem as Porsche, how to make a 2 tonne, large 4 door vehicle look like it is a Lamborghini. The back actually looks but similar to the Cayenne, the sides are slab sided and the front is just plain curious.
The two nostrils on each side are the same shape as the Gallardo and the bonnet has odd shaped headlights to echo the Gallardo and Murcielago (sp?). It isn't quite so obviously a Lamboghini as the Cayenne is a Porsche.

I think it is planned for 2006.

Anyway, it just proves that commercially the Cayenne makes sense, although the results listed in the press releases prove it.

interesting one....

Cayenne is shared design with the VW Toureag

VW own Audi

Audi own Lamborghini

Lamborghini Gallardo is part Audi underneath

I would say that the Lambo 4x4 will start out as a VW Toureag......
