Lambton Charity Shoot - 4th & 5th June

I'm organising a charity clay shoot at the Lambton Estate with the kind permission of the Earl of Durham. This year the event will raise funds for the Percy Hedley Foundation. The shoot will take place on the first weekend of June which will be Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June. The cost will be the same as last year which was £450 per team of four with a discount to £750 if the team is registered for both days. Please note that team places are transferable so you don't have to field the same team on both days to take advantage of this discount.

This event offers some of the best simulated game shooting to be found anywhere in the country and is one of the best days clay shooting you're likely to have all year. The teams drive to each of seven stands within the Estate where they will face flushes of one hundred clays per stand. The stands consist of:

Rabbit
Waterhen off the bridge
Partridge
Pheasant
Duck
Pigeon
High Pheasant from the Castle Tower

Official entry has just opened. Teams are limited and are available on a strictly first come, first served basis. You can find more details here where you'll also find the entry form however please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.

It would be great to see PCGB members there although I think I will be leaving the GT3 at home [;)]

Cayenne anyone? [:D]

Blimey that makes our R3 shoot last year cracking value at £20 per head inc lunch!!!

No doubt that £20 is cheap but this shoot is excellent value and especially so if you take the two day discount. It's a serious amount of shooting and quite simply one of the best shoots anywhere. It's in the grounds of what used to be the old Lambton Lion Park and you have to drive from stand to stand. With teams of four and all guns blazing at the same time, you can blame your team mates for the clays that you miss! It's the most fun you can have shooting clays pigeons.

We've limited the teams to 50 per day to prevent delays at the stands; we have a total of 40 teams registered already many of which were sold before the charity was announced.

Let me know if you have any queries because I would love to see a PCGB contingent there. JCT600 supports another shoot otherwise I would defnitely have made sure they support this one.
