Late Notification - Cancellation of Sundays Swindon Drive and Outlet Visit

Apologies for the lateness of this message, but Sunday's drive and visit to the Swindon Railway Museum is no longer viable, we only had a few members who wished to go and we have therefore decided to cancel the trip and reschedule to a date in April 2013 TBD.

Nick,

We would love to do an event on the island, but the ferry cost prevents us doing a day trip type of event, then you are into staying overnight for 2 days.....more cost.. We have a committee meeting this week, so I will put it too them for next year.

I have spoken to Kerry Jackson (Marketing Manager) for Wightlink, who would be willing to help. She needs to know when you might be thinking of coming to the Island and how many cars.

One opportunity for members visiting may be timed runs down a runway. This would need to be explored with the owner to see what costs would be invloved.
