Late OPRV Align Tool

Hi Guys

As you'll know from my main engine build thread, I'm chasing a low-ish oil pressure issue and will most likely be removing the OPRV to check it (if indeed a proper gauge agrees with my dash readings).

Does anyone have the tool they could lend me to check alignment? Failing that, if the OPRV goes in and out without much bother, we could assume it's lined up ok?

I'm waiting on a reply from my engine builder to see if they removed and re-fitted the oil cooler housing when they had the block, and if so, how they lined it up.

Thanks in advance

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

I've got the tool - you're welcome to borrow it. Send me your address.

Cheers,

Excellent Jim.

I will PM address.

Cheers

Stuart

If I remember correctly this tool is needed to align the oil filter support assembly that also houses the OPRV. When it is in place you can freely take the OPRV in and out without any concern on its alignment. At least I did and never had any issue.
