Latest addition to the fleet!

So, not content with 4 Porsche between us, Marion has decided that she can't live any longer without open top motoring (after selling the 987 a while back) We had looked at a very nice 997 GTS cab in the showroom at PC Exeter but did nothing more about that one. Then along came this one for sale from good friends of ours in the Register, Phil and Dee. We knew the car had been very well looked after and not driven particularly hard other than on Register tours![:D] As a bonus it comes with a hard top and winter tyres. All we need now is a much larger garage to keep them all out of the weather...[:(] As we now have a choice of 997s to take on the Register tours we could always offer one for hire to those 991ers who can't get on them!:ROFLMAO: Few photos - taken by Phil

Of course she's also July's pin up on the 997 2016 calendar!

Aha

We have just done the same, by adding a 991 cab 2s to our fleet, nothing wrong with collecting

:) Excellent choice. I enjoyed a 997.1 C2S Cab back in the day and it was epic! So well made and so composed on the most twisty of roads.

Beautiful car Alan / Marion.

I love the cabriolets. Somehow motoring seems more pleasurable and intense with the roof down... And the GTS is a beauty.

Phil / Dee - I shall be interested in what you turn up in at the next event...

Very true but we could where other German makes are also displaying (something black with an SL and AMG will turn up). Will be attending at least a couple of events where this will be happening, including Silverstone Classic. I still have a nice scale model of the 918 though, looks pretty good in the office and I could bring that along! Will keep the membership until the next Porsche arrives though :ROFLMAO: The best Register is definitely this one, as is PCGB overall, and we would not think of not seeing our friends again.

And we would miss you too.[:)]
The hardtop came off today - just in time for the torrential downpours.....[:D]
