Great article on Roland Kusmaul, father of the RS and Cup cars.
Lost of interesting facts:
The cup car engines were not blueprinted - just engines showing good figures taken off the line.
He can also be called father of the GT3.

Details of a racing/rallying pedigree I for one was unaware of.
