Just got off the phone with Jon M and they have now had a good chance to thoroughly inspect LIL since she returned from the bodyshop. The really good news is that following the sideways smack into the barriers at Snetterton the only mechanical damage is to the power steering. A new rack and cooler will be needed plus the pipe that links them but that is basically that. As a precaution they are also going to replace the long coolant pipe that runs from one side of the engine to the other just behind the badge panel as it looks like it flexed and may crack in the future (anything to protect that engine is fine by me)
They have inspected the brake system and the master cylinder and everything is in full working order (but I'm having a new master cylinder just in case []). I do not want to worry about ever feeling that soft pedal feeling ever again []. New Big Black disks and 3" ducting pipes will also be fitted before I pick her up.
My target is still Frontrunner next weekend - anyone want a passenger ride []
