Is there anything later than the 2008 oil TSB we have on here. We are way past the 'Valid To' dates on anything on that list.
Also Porsche now have the classic 10W-60 oil available to confuse things further.
Anybody have sight of a recent oil list from Porsche?
Ian.
You already have the answer in your question 10W-60, thinner oils maybe OK for water cooled engines but yours is air cooled and runs much hotter.
Get a good brand like Millers CFS or Nanotech, Mobil 1 which Halfords were selling at a great price over the Xmas hols at under £40/5L
