Hello Porsche fans...

Anyone out there going to the Le Mans Classic next week? Will there be parking available for Porsches or will we have to park in the general public areas? In 2006 I saw a large area where only Porsche cars were being parked. Would be nice to be able to do this.

Can anyone answer this please.

thanks,

Mike

I am going but without my 993 regretably - wife is working at the Le Mans Classic and I will be driving the business wagon down.

In 2006 I wangled an Expo parking pass and parked the 993 opposite the main entrance. The Porsche's parked up in the centre of the circuit were mainly Porsche Club France and not available generally.

It is a great event but made a fantastic one if you have a paddock pass.

Have a good time.

All internal parking booked through Porsche club France in advance. I would try talking to one of the officials on duty near the tent you may be able to get pass from them i recall it was only about 12 Euro
Have a good run down

Thanks for the replies and information in reference to parking! I will give that a try.

My son and I went to the Le Mans Classic in 2006 and had a great time and he is coming over from London where I will pick him up at Disney Land Paris on my way from Germany. We have paddock passes as I obtained them through a French De Tomaso Pantera Club that we will be hooking up with (Pantera is another car I really love). Just hope the weather cooporates! In 2006 we joined the Swedish Pantera club they drove around 10 of them all the way from Sweden....would hate to pay that gas bill especially now!

Thanks Again,

Mike from Ramstein, Germany
