Le Mans 2015

Hi Kevin, 'No' from me but there is a good chance that we'll go to the Classic again soon, will try and let you know. I found the Classic so much better than the modern event, so much so that I doubt I'll ever go to the modern one again. (Mark Webber and the 918 may persuade me to re-consider). Far more likely is a return trip to Spa next year. Ian.

Hi Ian.........mmmmm Spa[:)] Trackday or spectating? I've booked LeMans for 2015 but I intend doing a few events next year and so I may tag along if you're in agreement and the stars are in alignment? I've kept the RS despite being very tempted by the offers I've had, probably a 'keeper' now..... Best Kev

Hi Kev, I hope to repeat the track day there next July, you'd be very welcome. Spectating at the Spa 6 Hours would be pretty good, too. I'm glad you kept the RS, it's a lovely car and values seem to be lifting nicely which always helps. Cheers, Ian

Hi Ian, I'd be very interested in doing both events (especially the trackday) please keep me posted! Hopefully we'll meet up before then though! Best Kev

Hi Kev, I'll definitely keep you posted, it will probably be early next year before much happens regarding Spa. No doubt I'll see you before then. Cheers, Ian.

Kev I was just thinking that I ought to mention the RS day at Oulton Park and it gets announced for 2015 (20th March, my birthday!). See 964 RS section, don't hang around if you fancy going. I went last year and it was excellent, stayed over the night before with a nice bunch of assorted track-goers at a local hotel ready for the early start. Cheers Ian

Hi Ian, Thanks for the heads-up on this event. I've seen it advertised before, but I have to admit that the time of year puts me off a little due to running Cup tyres. I suppose it's a gamble but I am a real wuss when it comes to driving on these tyres in the wet!!! Needless to say when I change them it won't be for Cups (albeit they are great in the dry and warm weather) Best Kev
