So then, is anyone going this year? Falls on June 12/13.

I went last year for the first time, great event, atmosphere and cars are brilliant!

I'll be taking my C4S for it's first major run.

Would be interested to hear if anyone from the forum is planning a trip over?

Hi there
Just booked seven days in a caravan, sixty miles up the road, with the wife and two kids, not had the car long, cant wait

Not doing the 24 hours but doing the classic in July. Been to both in recent years (last time was Porsche anniversary 2 years ago) and I prefer the classic. Less busy and more to see.

There's 5 cars going from R3 ( North east) on Wednesday 7th July right through till Monday 12th

I am also doing Classic, had a good time last time, loads of 911s would like to do both if i had the time, so Classic is my first choice.

Hi there, were off with a few mates arriving at Le Mans on the Wednesday... Staying at the camping at Tertre Rouge if you're interested in meeting up the PCGB club camping site now situated I believe on the inside of the track at the Porsche curves is having I think an open night for members and chums who are not camping with the club to sample the delights of their facilities etc. A little bit of advertising never hurt anyone.... Were certainly going to pop along for that.

Cheers
Sean

Group of us going from Chepstow leaving early Friday till Monday, staying on Porscheclub site,Ive started counting down the days already!

Where is the best place to watch and the best place for tickets ect,can we get acces to the porsche site .Cheers Andy

Hi I've already got my name down for the PCGB site and the prices are now out (in this months mag) looking at around £300 if 2 are going down and staying on site includes ferry / train. I've not been before but everyone tells me its an experience we should all try.
Does not seem to be many from 997 register at present but I'm going with my son cannot think of a better weekend for the boys !

Geoff

Myself and friends are going to the Classic, camping at Maison Blanche (as Karting Nord seemed unavailable) going early Friday and back late Monday, and would be great if we could meet up with other owners at some stage, either going, coming back or whilst there? The bar at Arnage by the crossing's a good place to meet whilst there - anayone fancy something?

I would be up for meeting, but will be going over on the Thursday, meeting some mates down there who are staying at the Leisure Directions site, at the circuit, but if there is a meet up during the weekend i would be pleased to get involved.

Last time i went the French Porsche club had there own field, i spent a few hours walking round all the Porsches parked up, was great to see.

I went last year for the first time and stayed on the Porsche site, thought it was brilliant. This year a group of us are going to the Classic. We've already booked a Chateau nearby.

However, as I had such a good time last year, I am now itching to do the 24 hrs and have registered with PCGB for this as well.

I've registered on the website to go Friday to Monday. I'm going with my son and we're travelling from SW Essex (Hornchurch). Would be good to travel with others. Anyone have a convoy?

Think I am planning on heading off Wednesday evening (9th June) from near Birmingham. So far it's me and my mate in his M3 CSL.

Always keen on a convoy, although I am still yet to book crossing, parking, camping etc.

Hi,catching 0930 train on Friday returning monday,2 porsche and a Aston DB9 so far if any one wants to tag along

Just been offered a Le Mans package staying at the campsite on the Porsche Curves for the duration of our stay. £260 per person all in, ferry, tickets, camping. Seems like a decent site and an ok price.

Is the club meeting up at the curves this year? Has anyone stayed? Are the facilities good?

I stayed there twice with the club 06, 07 . Good location short walk onto the hill for the 24 itself. I am trying the clubs, new location this year. Its a big test for them new people, new camp site otherwise I think people will go back with TD site.

If things do not go well at the new PCGB site this year.
My son aged 8 is going with me, we leave on the Thursday from Dover at 10.00.

SEE YOU THERE PEOPLE.
