Le Mans Classic 2008

Hi all
Just wondered how many are likely to be going next year. I have been to the last two events and have had a superb time. Last year we had 6 Speedsters including 1 from Belgium with the full race spec fiberglass top.If i ever sort out how to add photos will put some up on this site.
I have already booked my accomodation for next year, hotels i believe are already in short supply near the circuit.

I will be camping again this year either through www.traveldestinations.co.uk. or www.continentalcartours.co.uk

The classic is a far better experience......... less looneys i went last time and camped next to the bently pit crew

maybe organise a bigger convoy this year??

i will be travelling down on the thursday via euro tunnel in the morning to calais

Hi will be going for two weeks again. We do week before and after to make holiday for the girls.Hence hire Gitte with pool( very civilised). I gave up on the 'normal' Le Man's a few years ago, place got too restricted, the classic is much more relaxed and friendly.Access to cars is fantastic with open garages.Looking forward to it[]

will be going down on the Thursday, probably tunnel at this stage and camping!

We are taking a year off from the 24h in 2008 and trying out the classic instead.
A group of us are taking over an entire chateau from the Thursday to Monday. Can't wait!

Done the 24hour for the past eight years and the type of individual attending gets worse in quality and more in number every year. We all enjoy a few beers as much as the next man, but for some the idea seems to be to get as wasted as possible as quickly as possible.

I completely agreeeeee! Done Le Mans for ten years and refused to go last year cos of all the chav's!! Went to Le Mans practice instead which is fantastic!
So this year its Le mans Practice, Nurburg24hrs and Le Mans Classic
