The OPC 'Mother Ship' opens it's doors to PCGB yet again for the weekend of the 24 Heures du Mans - 18/19 June. Check the details here. 2 BRX one of the stars of last year for me:

Big Mac and I were there last year and it was superb, great night including the drive down and back. This year the format is the same and I wouldn't miss it as it will be my official 'end-of-term' party, will hopefully have just finished a huge amount of work on everything including the kitchen sink lol.

I'm planning on leaving from Towcester McD's (A43) at about 7/7.30pm. Anyone else fancy tagging along? The more the merrier.

Cheers all [8D]

Excellent - complimentary food and drink, exotics in the showroom, guided tour of the workshops and car lot plus an excellent social - maybe Eoin will be there to give us the history lesson again [:)]

Mate, just turn up if you can make it. Would be good to see you for a blast.

Did you enjoy today? I loved it, was still in the grandstand at 4.30, watching them give it full bananas in the lashing rain.

Brilliant.

John,

I wondered if you still planned to go as stated above?? I discovered from another forum that it seems OPC Reading are NOT staying open overnight as they apparently did last year. Since the start of the race is at 4pm French time (3pm local) it seems likely that there will be little going on by 8-8:30 when I guessed you would get there.

They ARE planning to be open on Sunday although I haven't managed to discover if they are showing the finish - I'm sure they will though.

Regards

Dave

Yes, according to Gemma they are shutting at 5. Mega-downer [:(]

[] Are you still going then

Sadly not, went and watched the qualifying with Mr. Big Mac, had a top notch curry at his and then went for a 50-mile long-way-home midnight run instead. Which was nice. [;)]

Did you go?
