leak

Hi Gang,
I have a wee leak in my engine 3.2 []and cant find it anywhere ...whats the opinion on leak stop products ?

I assume it's an oil leak as opposed to a hydraulic fluid leak.
Best to try and find out where its coming from first - could try putting some paper under the engine to narrow this down.

To my knowledge there are no leak stop products for oil!
(my neighbour stopped putting oil in his car for a time which had the desired effect as the oil drips did eventually stop but so did the engine - funny that!)

I would agree, unless it is loads then it's not worth the expense of sorting out. Just stick a drip tray under it.

Have a look at the transfer pipes at the base of the engine or camfeed pipes 1 each side at the top front.
