Leaking fluid

I have a puddle that develops under the drivers side of my car behind the front off side wheel.
I am assuming this is power steering fluid (it's not oil, cos I've checked the level), and the reservoir level seems to be dropping.
Any ideas where it may be leaking from?
Thanks
Tom

There is nothing for the power steering behind the wheel so it will probably be collecting in the undertray and then running off the back. Usual place is from the pump itself. Have a look under the bonnet down behind the air filter and you will see the top of the pump. You should be able to see if the undertray is wet in that area.

Is the fluid red? If so then it is power steering fluid. Check all the clips in the pipework AND see if the glass reservoir is cracked. If the fluid is not running back off the undertray, then my guess is it is brake fluid from the ABS unit that hides behind drivers wheel-it hides behind the plastic inner wheel arch lining.

It might be clutch fluid. The flexible hose near the bulkhead above the exhaust is prone to leaking. Probably isn't as it only leaks when you use the clutch.....

Good luck.

Few things which might cause it. Powersteering hose/pipe connection near powersteering fluid cooler. Hose clamp gets loose (or hose is just old) and it starts to leak. Fluid goes quite fast to various places. Another good spot is oil cooler hoses attachment to cooler it self. O-rings might be bad and it start to leak. Check also powersteering hoses at the powersteering container.
