Leaking Fuel Tank

Found a very strong smell of fuel in the car so started investigating, found fuel around the front bottom of the tank, guess its a removal job, any of you guy's used this por 15 stuff to seal the tank or had simular problems, I am a bit disapointed as I always keep the tank at least 1/2 full and it lives in a nice dry garage ok it is some 21 years old but not as old as a lot of you guy's car's!
your experiences will be most welcome

Had a good day out at the Top Gear test track at Dundsfold yesterday, it was very cold and a bit wet though!
