Hi,

just thought i would post this as it might help someone else.

About a year ago, i resealed both my rack and pump, but recently i started having the fluid dripping from the bottom of the car again.

First thoughts were Bugger! I cant have done a good enough job of resealing the rack. As when i took the undertray off the car, it looked as if that is were it was coming from. However. on closer examination, it was actually the hose that goes from the pump to the rack, with the U bend in it, that was leaking.

This is something to check, as it has a protective covering, and the fluid spays everywhere, it can be difficult to tell that its the hose and not the rack. Anyway, good news is, i took it to a local hydrualic place and he is going to make me up new hoses for £20.
