leaking washer bottle

Hi All,
Been having a few issues with my windscreen washers.. the first issue turned out to be that the nozzles were blocked.. 10 minutes with a pin sorted that.. but...

I thought I'd noticed this before, but assumed I was going mad, as my washer level light keeps coming on...

anyway, this weekend I filled it to the the brim, and the light went off...

then this morning the light is back on, and worse.. theres a big pool of water in the garage ! []

I'm guessing I have a leak or split in the washer reservoir somewhere, but I cant find the tank ?

Can anyone tell me where it is ? I've looked on the downloadable pdf manuals, and that shows it as being under the passenger side wing !! But I'm sure its not there ?

There's an overflow pipe on top of the tank. Just let the level go down a bit and your leak will disappear (hopefully). If not it's a swine of a job to take out, but still possible for a competent DIYer.

well, I finally got round to finding the problem with my leaking washer bottle this weekend..

Turns out there is a little washer/seal between the bottle and the pump, that isnt sealing properly anymore.

I got the part number off it, but where would I get it from ?
Do I have to go to an opc, or is there a better alternative ?

It looks like it was an audi/vw part, (it has the 4 rings on it ), sadly dont have the part number to hand right now.

Incidentally, takig teh headlights out is an amazingly easy 30 second job, [:)]
but removing the wheel and wheel liner was somewhat more tricky []

hehe, thanks Maurice, just wondered if there was a well known alternative to the OPC for the actual part rather than a part replacement, as its a bit of a trek over to Reading in my lunch hour... to order, and then collect.
I got my sunroof relay at the local vw dealer :)
