Leaking windscreen

Have just purchased my first Porsche. On the drive home after buying it, I encountered some rain showers and was horrified to discover that water was leaking through both sides of the windscreen, running down the doors and making the carpets wet.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything that I can do to fix it?

You can have the screen removed & refitted with some black gunk they use or you could get a new genuine screen seal, people say the non-genuine is no good & they leak.

Whatever happens don't remove the trims from your seal while the seal is on the glass. Make sure they remove the screen with the trims in place.

Have fun i found 911 screens are horrid to fit and make sure you have an extra pair of hands. I got my new seal from forest fine think about £28, fitted and no leaks present so a good buy and the gunk can look horrible if it bulges out anywhere
