leaky rear screen

During the beautiful weather we have enjoyed over the past few weeks I have noticed a small leak in the rear screen on my 944...Is it easy to get the seals re done / expensive?

If it is leaking through the join between the glass and the frame that holds it then it is tricky. Some have reported success with squeezing mastic into the leak area. Others have had teh frame totally removed and resealed at windscreen places ££££

Do you get a puddle on your spoiler? Check that the two drain holes at each corner are not blocked and causing a buildup.

If it is coming through the gap where the frame closes onto the rubber seal that is attached to the bodywork then this is very easy. A new seal is £29 from Porscheshop. Don't cut it if it appears too long. Place both ends onto the lip above the number plate and then work your way around the boot in both directions, leaving loose bits every foot or so until you finish at the top of the roof in the middle. Then go back and push down all those loose bits.
