leaky windscreen seal

this weekend i gently lifted the lower corner of the windsreen seal and was greeted by a torrent of water pouring out - the car hasn't be washed or out in the wet for a few weeks!

anybody got any hints where this water has come from as i'm worried about future rust problems? Is there a remedy without having re remortgage the house?

I've had the same thing happen. I think that the water must have got there whilst being pressure washed at some point. I've never pressure washed it as I detest the things but I'd guess that garages have done so. I dried it out with an air-line and sprayed some wax-oil into the gap. Our cars are prone to corrosion in these areas but thought this would delay the inevitable.
