Anyone got any experience with these types of products ie how much to apply? If you apply it more thickly does it stay on better or worse, the linen leather stuff that has been thinly applied to my drivers seat is starting to wear off quicker than i thought it would have...bit disapointed am i expecting too much? What is the best way to apply it rag or brush?Any pointers greatfully recieved[:)]

Found a place in Warrington that re-finish properly think i will be going there when i get a minute, great article in one of the mags, they take the seat apart and do it properly with a spray gun.Two hundred quid and the seats look nearly new.

Is that both seats for £200

I used the Gliptone (Liquid Leather) re dying kit and it did work, but like yours it wore away all too quickly and the creases soon go black again [8|]

Errr,Just checked in my exitement was slightly innacurate,250plusVAT,but the guys are ex connolly employees, and the work looks mint, apparently takes a full day, like the article says this adds value and i reckon at the very least would make a car easier to sell, quick van trip to warrington i think when time allows. The company is called Leathercare renovations.Quite exited about that[:D]The article is in Total 911 magazine this month.

I guess they are the people that did the seats in Stuart Cookson-Smith's 968 - I saw them last year at Donington & they look like new! (in fact, they almost look too new unless your car is mint)

Stuart said they "re-connolise" the seats (whatever that is) - the colour was great & the leather was much softer.
