Leather interior care for 997 seats

Hi, I'm looking for advice on a local provider that can take a look at the leather interior on my 997 turbo. It's getting the usual wear on the side bolsters and I'd like to see if it can be addressed/reconditioned before it goes beyond repair and requires a retrim. Does anyone have any recommendations for the Cambs/Northants area.

thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

If its just wear, I'd say get hold of some leather paint and do it yourself.
You'll be surprised at how easy it is to get right, and I mean DEAD right straight away.
If that is, it's just scuffing and creasing that has exposed the 'suede' under the colour coat of the leather.

I've used two products on two of my cars.

Gliptone Scuffmaster (see below)

You can get the Scuffmaster from John at Bespoke Leathering (he does a lot of the interior trimming/refurbs on Car SOS)
He supplied me with an exact colour match for my Ocean Blue leather, but the pack comes with tints so you can go lighter or darker, and a mattifier and gloss enhancer if you need it duller or shinier.

Also worth trying LTT Auto Leather Recolour from LTT up in York I think. I leather painted my BMW/MINI seat bolsters with this.

Sorry I cant help with a repairer in your local area.
For the sake of £10 to £15 this sounds like it could sort out your problem and save you a small fortune

If you can post some pics it might help

thanks James / Stephen for the info. I appreciate the suggestions and will give them a try. I can get a bit OCD hence paying someone else to do it [:)]
