quality bob on too mate, he showed me his astra yesterday (thats how i found out he did it). i think i will have my red 944 s2 with black side bolsters and red centres. he will be wanting a coupls of doors off me so i am hoping to do a deal with him.

So a full interior = front and rear seats + front door cards for £650?

Sounds really good, something to save up for.....

It looks nice enough. Ive seen a lot of re-trimmed Porsche 944 seats though, and few looked good. Unfortunately most didnt fit properly around the headrest and none have ever managed to re-trim the rear squab to the factorys standard (actually, the factory used vinyl in virtually every car).

Id suggest sticking to factory colours and using an original vinyl rear out of a factory leather car.

Sorry to say, this is my experience as well. I had a new side panel put in a sports seat I bought for the front of my S2 and it isn't quite right. I have seen photos of a number of other re-trims subsequently and they all seem a bit wrinkly in the headrest area. I'm not sure what Porsche did in the factory but it seems to be a hard bit to get right.

Here is a picture of my old S2 Cab that had, coincedentley, been retrimmed in black and red to a very high standard (imo). I've got some better pics somewhere that might give you an idea of what it would look like. I'll try and dig them out.
