Leather Look Vs Half Leather

Howdy All,

Ive currently got half leather and want to change it to the Leather Look.

I know the seats are the biggest difference between the two, but is there anything else? were there different carpets or anything like that?

If anyone has any pics to show then that would be a great help :D

Cheers

What you have probably got is actually half vinyl (or what Porsche call Leatherette [8|]). There are many combinations of interior trim and with Porsche you could pay for whatever you wanted but the four main ones are:

1. Half vinyl. This is a cloth center to the seats, with vinyl bolsters, and vinyl backs
2.Full cloth. Speaks for itself, this is cloth centres with cloth bolsters and vinyl backs
3. Leather. This is leather centre and bolsters to the front seats. The backs of the seats, and the rear seats are vinyl
4. Full leather. This is Leather seats all over front and back, leather dash, leather under dash, leather door trims etc

There was never a standard Porsche option of Half leather, ie cloth centre with leather bolsters (but of course you could spec it at a price and maybe a later owner had it done aftermarket when the original bolster wore through)

this is my interior:

I would guess its the half vinyl?

I would say im changing it to the Leather Option? What would be the differences between the two?

Always difficult to tell from pics but the cracks on the inside bolster of your drivers seat it tend to look more like leather than vinyl.

As I said earlier, the standard leather seats are leather in the centre and bolsters of the front seats. Everywhere else is vinyl
