I am looking for a replacement leather not suede steering wheel. I am wishing to retain a similar size (370/380mm) as the car does not have power steering and it is handy to be able to read the gauges. A slight dish would be good. Can anyone give me any web links or suggestions as to a make and model? Thanks for your help.

There will be a Momo wheel to suit your every desire. A Prototypo is the wheel of choice for most air-cooled 911 owners for three reasons - first, they're well made, second, they were used by the Porsche works team back in the day and third, they look and feel great (sorry, that's four).
I've got a 370mm Alcantara wheel, but they far more common in leather.
Hope that helps.

Ray,
I'm in Rome for the week, (without the 911 I hasten to add!) but if you pm me an email address, I'll send you the only photo of my steering wheel I've got on my phone. Or if you can wait a few days, I'll take some better ones - and measure the diameter, but I'm sure it's 370mm - like you, I like to have at least a reasonable idea of what speed I'm doing.

If you inquire over on the Impact Bumpers forum, you'll find many that have fitted the Momo Prototipo and search for other options.chrishak said:There will be a Momo wheel to suit your every desire.
