Leaves in front vents. What do you use?

Not being a lover of the mesh grills some folks have installed, I'm stuck with constantly trying to clear out the leaves, cigarette ends and general muck that accumulates in front of the two radiators via the front vents.

Recently bought a portable Dyson hoping the long attachment on the front will reach in and do the job but to no avail.

Just wondering what you guys use?

A number of imaginative solutions to this problem have been discussed on previous threads but I find the crevice tool on the household vacuum works just fine, and if I'm really keen I use an inspection lamp to make sure I've not missed anything.

Agreed, Dyson flexible crevice tool, which has a soft brush on the end to help protect those vunerable rad fins.

Grilles also help stop the cack getting between the a/c condensor and rad on each side, which you're never going to be able to extract with a vacuum cleaner.

Grilles![;)]  Stop the rocks hitting the rads too which can be quite an expensive business.  Why don't you like them Eric?
Not sure to be honest. Quite like the vents as they are.
Tried the cardboard tube at the end of the vacuum hose and didn't work for me.

Is there a flexible crevise tool for the Portable Dyson?

Makes so much sense that you have to think that there must be a reason why Porsche don't fit them as standard, especially when radiator problems are amongst the more frequent warranty claims.

Also it's not an option for those wanting to purchase the extended warranty.

I thought things like holes in rads were not covered by the warranty...

"wear and tear Sir"

Certainly this is what is to be expected but quite a number of successful warranty claims for radiator problems have been reported on the Forum.

Corrosion is covered, rock damage isn't![;)] I want to try to avoid both.
