Leaving Porsche for Audi RS4

Due to practical issues I have unfortunately come to the decision to sell the 996 and get an Audi RS4. The closer I get to the delivery date the sadder I am that the Porsche will have to go rather than get excited about the new car, however I'm consoled by (a) the 420hp V8 in the RS4 and (b) the knowledge that I'll be back in a Porsche in the not too distant future. The current car is listed here http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=244165

Just love RS4 got very close to buying rather than Boxster, no kids was the deciding factor for the 2 seater! Would like to no how you go on with Audi dealers compared to OPC's it can not be worse[:D]

Assuming you have put your name down for the Panamera for your Porsche return?

you'll not be disapointed with the RS4... Audi's are very plesant cars to drive and own, the RS4 is going to be a really nice change fron the 996....... however, the Quattro safety and 4 door saloon or avant will still leave a little place in your mind panging to be back in the Porsche.

Let us know when you get the RS4... what colour/spec have you gone for ?

As far as I can see the only reason to have kids is to be able to get a RS6 Avant! Let us know what the RS4 is like.

Might be too late already but a pal of mine has an RS4 that he's selling. It's awesome and he loves it but within a very short space of time after having it some 'sorts' tried to break into his house with him, his partner and son in there!

They were frightened off but it was enough for him to want to sell it. He keeps it at work now and hardly uses it. Shame, it is truly wonderful.

Anyway, my point is to be aware that its an attractive car to steal either for order or getaway, rare(ish), 4 seats, solid, 4 doors, big boot and very fast. Who'd steal a porsche for that!

Take care, keep it garaged and secure and remember, they're all just metal and can be replaced.
