Of course there are many different LED lights and probably as many different brightnesses - but I was not convinced they were as bright as my old tungsten bulbs, so I swapped them back.

Does look a bit odd with the HID headlights, but I'm not looking at the front of the car at times when the lights are on!

Pete B,

Why an MOT fail ? - the driving lights are brighter but more of a white light as opposed to yellow (tungsten) lamp

I've been through 2 MOTs without comment about my LED side lights. Mine have a single LED panel at the end of a metal case - bright head on, but they don't tend to throw the light to the sides as much. The light therefore looks like it's concentrated at a point rather than lighting up the whole side light, if you see what I mean.
