"Lee Noble" 944 turbo.

I think this car may have been discussed before, in any case it's on ebay now for £16.5k ono. Seems to me there's been some silly money spent on the car, in some cases for repeat work. Maybe there's a lesson to be learned, about putting a 944 into an 911 workshop. I haven't seen the car, but perhaps it's worth sticking up on a ramp at around £15k?

Had a look at the listing - surely there'd be more definitive proof of ownership with such a car - not even one receipt or invoice with a previous owners name on it?
Also old gentlemen who own and maintain cars like these don't generally have chaotic filing to lose paperwork in, they are meticulous in record keeping.

Call me a cynic......

I believe its garaged almost next door to me
If it’s the car I’m thinking of the owner has quite a collection of cars and rents a storage unit to house them
it’s in good condition I had a good chat with the owner and a look around it a few months ago

The unconfirmed Lee Noble connection means diddly squat as far as I'm concerned. And if Mr Noble owned a Turbo S that was so far gone, that the better condition replacement sourced, also needed new front wings, sills and rear wing repairs, he wasn't much of a judge of car condition IMO. Furthermore the subsequent repairs suggest it could have been a hound mechanically too. As I posted, it may be a decent car for £15k. But I wouldn't take much notice of the £28k that's supposedly been spent on it, when some of those bills should have included KY.
