Left Hand Drive

I am looking forward to collecting our new tiptronic LHD 968 to join our family fleet of 924S and 944S2. Any thoughts on left hand drive in this country?

Have owned LHD cars in this country for many years inc many 911's......no problem just drive accordingly and with the overtaking power a doddle.....comes to life in Europe....enjoy and you'll wonder why you pay a RHD premium.....

Just brought a 968 CS in from Germany. LHD is good as the driving position is much better and the battery is in the bonnet!

Both my cars are LHD and it's no problem at all.

better and more comfortable driving position, the rest for your left foot is HUGE....
when parked up, you exit the car on the pavment side
a car as it was designed to be rather than these RHD retro-fit models [8D]

but stay away from car park barriers......[&:]

Car park barriers are a pain - have recently bought a LHD 968CS as a daily driver - people in carpark queues now have to wait longer for me!
Don't think the driving position is much different on the 944/968 cars but its hugely better on the air cooled 911's.

paying for mersey tunnel and m6 toll needs basketball skills, i know of someone that carries his kids fishing net to pay the carpark attendants!

M6 Tolls easy Keith - if you buy a tag, works well but doesn't help with car parks when I get to Telford!

After a brief period of adjustment we find that we hop quite happily from the RHD boxster S into the LHD 968 CS.

Got a Dart Tag. Now have no problems paying for the Dartford Crossing either!
