Thank you for the link ..that takes me way back to the 60s when rallying was rallying, used to go to all the Scottish events standing up those forest tracks at 2 in the morning ,must have been keen or just daft .Some thing that has not changed is the spectators and the crazy place's they stand

I was more late seveties, early eighties, standing in the freezing pitch darkness of Kielder Forest waiting for the glimmer of lights in the distance or in some spots, the sudden explosion of noise as a car came round from behind the side of a hill.

Excellent clip, it's nice to see that the retro theme was extended to include old school crowd control (or lack of).
