Just saw this beauty on Pistonheads, a snip at just under 350k.

Do you think we could get 350 folk to shell out 1k each and we could all play with it on a track sometime?

And I'm not entirely joking..
 
Thats a day a year each and 15 days to maintain it..... Wonder if we can negotiate the price...... After all theres a recession on or so I heard! [:D]
 
its not real however - its a replica, built between 2001-2005.....a very expensive replica, but a replica all the same...

Its far from a recreation,a ex fabcar spare tub,which was built under licence of the factory as were many 962 built.
Most of the running gear is 962,engine is a 993 twin turbo built by the person who built/project managed the project,idea was that it would be a usable engine with out complications of the 962 engine for road use.

so its non-original and uses later parts.....sounds like a recreation to me...
 
Don't like the colour............. i would have bought it if it was in rothmans livery.
