LGF 123T history ???

I purchased lovely original (registered in 1978; chassis number 93097000?? indicates it is model year 1979 car) LHD 930 Porsche from England in spring 2006. Car had been in England since ~1985 when it was imported from Kenya (according to original factory records 1st owner was living in Nakuru, Kenya)"¦

Car had changed hands couple of times in England until I bought that car from 911 Classic. It was carrying LGF 123T number plates and noticeable is that car had then (and has now) Porsche Club Great Britain sticker in its side rear window.

So far I have

serviced the car (engine and gearbox)
replaced the dash top (leather was damaged in the original one)
replaced front shield with new seal
replaced old tired door pockets with new ones
restored original leather interior (lots of grease and leather care)
enjoyed the car "¦[/LIST]

If anyone has memories, photos or has even owned that car some times I would be more than pleased to hear about the history of that car. You can reach me best by e-mail Mikael.ollikainen@lut.fi .

If you have the names of any UK owners I'll see if I can trace them for you and ask them to contact you.

Thank you John!

All papers (huge pile of aged "yellow" paper dating back all the way to year 1978+inspection report from Peter Morgan dating 2003) are in bank safe box with car registration documents. When I visit there next time I write down few names (I think I have two or three names mentioned in papers...). I will inform you! And also thanks in advance :)
