LHD 993 RS at Malton

I'm wondering if anyone has looked at the LHD Speed Yellow 993 RS that is currently at Specialist Cars of Malton? If so, I would welcome your opinion on it.

I'm currently looking for a LHD and overall condition and service history are the key elements. I do not want a low miles car because I intend to use it for the intended purpose but am also a little wary of very high milers (something in the middle would be ideal unless the price and condition made the high mile car worth looking into). Specification, bar wanting the softies option of A/C, and colour are unimportant.

Specialist Cars are a long journey for me and therefore sussing the car out via like-minded enthusiasts would be a benefit. Equally, if anyone had knowledge of a good RS that is up for sale privately, I would appreciate being made aware of it.

Thanking you in advance,

John

Stevie,

Thank you for your reply. Casting no aspersions but Specialist Cars have a vested interest in representing the car in a positive light. This is not to say that they will not be honest but that they will have a bias. Hence my question to this forum.

Kind regards

John

It's Mick Sumners on here. He's also on open pit lane. Car did quite a bit track work but was well looked after and Mick spent a lot on engine rebuild at GCR in Leicester.

Has been for sale well over a year...

Why are you posting as John?

And what car do you actually want, or is it one of each? I'm confused.

Agreed, I would be surprised if Mick hadn't looked after it, and the SCoM warranty is front to back, for 12 months.

Yes you pay for it, but at least you know what you pay for it [;)] !

Now reduced in price to £79k ??

Cx.

It makes sense really if you are looking to sell, just looking at currency movements. In comparison to March when £:€ was 1.10, euro is less punchy at todays £:€ 1.20, if the price stayed as before the car is effectively 9% more expensive now than it was in March to a European buyer.

Lets hope it goes to a Uk buyer and stays over here!
