LHD C2 or C4 wanted - upto £15K - help please

My friend has just been let down on a C2 (90) LHD car after spending the money having it inspected. He wants some advice on the best place to find a gen car with reasonable mileage up to £15K - all replied welcome

Fuchs have a fair turnover of LHD stock. I' ve heard a few poor reviews of 911 Virgin but I stress that I' ve never used them myself.

Henry is as straight as Car Salesmen come ! What I like about Henry, is that he is a Porsche enthusiast himself and a frequent Track day participant, so he knows what he is talking about.

If you are buying a twelve year old 964 for £15k, you can' t expect to be getting a brand new £65k for your money. However there are still some very good examples of the series out there, buy wisely and with care, then hopefully you will be very pleased with your purchase. Also keep some cash in your savings account, as on average most of us spend up to £2k per year on servicing etc.,

Above all, who ever you are buying from, get the car inspected by a qualified PORSCHE specialist. Not the AA or RAC. It will cost about £125 but worth very penny spent and could save you a very hefty bill for a engine rebuild or new clutch etc, shortly afer you have taken delivery of the car.

Many thanks for all your replies. I passed the information to him. He has now bought a C4 from Oakhills - hopefully he' ll join up and you' ll see him on the forum!

Get your friend to put a photo of his car on the forum. But he will have to join the PCGB first.
