LHD headlight switching 997

Info available in the manual and also posted on the 997 technicle articles section of this forum. The later only viewable by members I'm afraid.

Here's a video on how to remove the headlamp unit. It's for a 996 but identical on the 997.

When you have the unit out remove the four screws that hold the back cover on. When removed you will be able to see the lever that is flipped to switch it to LHD - it's down inside on the front face and you need a reasonable length screwdriver.

Replace the cover and refit unit to car as per the video. Repeat for the other side. All this should be in the owners manual anyway.
Word of caution - with the bi-xenon lights be careful to not touch any wires with your fingers. There may be a very large residual voltage (the cover should have warning stickers on it!!
