I have a 993 with left hand drive headlamps. To change them to the correct UK right hand drive beam pattern, can I just replace the lenses, or do I need complete replacement units? Alternatively, would they go through the MOT as is, if I move the small lever on the rear of each unit?

Agreed - I'm sure my headlamp units have a stamp on the black plastic at the back that shows they are RHD units. The small lever just flattens the pattern rather than mirroring it. But that should be fine for MOT.ORIGINAL: silver7
they will pass the mot with the little arm moved over. I believe the only way to get proper RHD is to change the lights, although I stand to be corrected!
I recognise that login name from a previous thread...so is this post an indicator of good news...do you have a replacement 993?l8lue
