Lid or boot open

rather strange...Had been driving for about an hour,and a red warning appeared on the dash

"Lid or Bonnet open". Stopped the car and checked..Both seemed fine, so I opened and shut both; alarm cleared. Anyone else experienced this?

I fear it may occur again
