limited slip diff?

Forgive my ignorance, but i would like to know if my 1989 S2 has a limited slip diff? Was it limited slip as standard? I could just try some doughnuts to find out but i don't really want to burn thru my tyres to find out :)

edit: should have said that i have an S2 cabriolet.

No it wouldn't have had an LSD as standard and very few had them spec'd as an option.

Look for code 220 on the option sticker in your spare wheel well and service manual, that is the LSD code
